Lovely silkwork in an intricate giltwood frame mounted in a Verre Eglomise panel 
It features a little girl cradling her kitten beneath a tree in a pastoral landscape
The little girl and the kitten, the clothes and hair are meticulously stitched onto the silk background, while the tree and landscape’s texture are created in a different stitch
In excellent condition, some slight damage to gilded frame, two negligible blemishes in the silk, impossible to photograph
