Rare early 19th Century English Blue & White treacle jug with a typical screw top
Pretty mid blue Transfer Ware printed in 'Cattle Pattern'
The screw top was important to prevent leakage and any contamination
The screw top cover and main jug both etched with 73 to keep them matched, image 6 
 
In very good condition, no chips or cracks, some internal staining from the treacle, images 4 & 5
