Beautifully carved Swan Butter print in lovely condition
Enclosed in an outer casing which would have been filled with butter. 
Once pressed out after chilling, the swan would be embossed on the top of the round butter pat to be presented at the table
The casing has a damage at the centre at the opening- image 5.
The Swan stamp could be easily removed and be used alone as a butter pat
