A Late 19th century Folk Art sweetheart pin cushion.

Heart shaped, made of faded velvet with a sand coloured sateen backing and stuffed with sawdust.

Decorated with small glass beads and sequins attached with pins, with three panels of embroidered 'Cigarette' silk ribbon and a silk fringe around the edge

'Time cannot change or alter me

Whatever may be my lot

My heart will still be true to thee

Then O' forget me not'

The pin cushion is in very good condition, some fading commensurate with age but little damage or missing beads
