Shrub is a fruit liqueur, very popular in the 18th century, made from Rum or Brandy, mixed with the juice and rind of citrus fruits- a 'Medicinal cordial'
Often seen as part of a set with- Rum, Hollands and Brandy
In excellent condition
Some very slight wear on the gilding, no chips or cracks
